Announcing NOS 5G, a new €10M venture fund

We are proud to announce a new venture fund, resulting from a partnership between Armilar and NOS, the leading Portuguese telecom operator.

NOS 5G is a EUR 10 million venture fund aiming to invest in startups based in Portugal, exploring technologies and business models with potential to leverage 5G capabilities.

Managed by Armilar, and with NOS Group as its sole investor, this fund represents a relevant pilar of NOS’s strategy and leadership in 5G. It will be looking for companies operating in Portugal, with disruptive products aiming a global reach, and based on both 5G-enabling and 5G-enabled technologies, that will include, amongst others:

• Network technology
• Internet of Things
• Data & Analytics
• Cloud Computing
• Augmented/Virtual Reality
• Cyber Security
